Hello Jeff,
How is your electric vehicle enterprise doing? Time flies, it seems a
few years have passed since we exchanged mails.
The following is a "form letter" promotion. I'll send another letter
with chatter later.
I'd like to inform you that we are putting together a special edition
of the GeekKlok or FLW which uses some very sharp, low-profile German
tubes made by Telefunken. These are new old-stock (NOS) and will be
included with the built-up unit.
Thus these are assembled, tested and ready to run, and include a very
slick designer case, made from clear acrylic with 22K gold-plated brass
trim. These will look great on a desk or table.
I am attaching a rendering of the clear acrylic case. These parts are
on order from our plastic supplier, who does precision laser-cutting
for us.
We expect them to be ready in early-December for immediate delivery
prior to Christmas. As always, these make great gifts.
I'm also attaching photos of the display with these very crisp display
tubes. Their background is darker than the round B-7971 tubes, so they
appear very bright.
The price is $299 each, with $35 shipping and handling. If by chance
you are interested in more than two, please write for a discount and
lower shipping price.
Best regards,
Raymond Weisling

Hello Jeff,
These special GeekKlok or FLW (which are you interested in?) should be
ready in early December. I'll try my best to ship them before the 11th
to 13th. They have absolute top priority. About a dozen of the control
PCBs are already 90% loaded with parts. I'll order the ZM1350 from Jan
Wuesten this week, and he is usually fast.
Payment by check (or money order) can be done by sending it to my
account in Pasadena, CA:
Pay To:
Raymond Weisling, account no. 656790
Mail to:
Wescom Credit Union
123 S. Marengo Ave.
Pasadena, CA 91101
For two units I'll give you a reduction in the shipping price, $47.02:
GKK or FLW $299
x2 = $598.02
shipping
47.02
TOTAL
$645.02
The two cents is to make this total unique from other potential
purchases if a pair from several other friends and special customers
(such as the award-winning Broadway musical composer-lyricist Stephen
Sondheim, who bought 2 FLW in 2004 and 11 of the original TTL ones back
in 1973-74). My online ledger only lists dates and totals, no source.
Let me know when you send the check, so I can watch for it and also
whether you want FLW or GKK.
